Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Voko iOS application and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Voko is an AI-powered speaking practice app. It transcribes and scores your voice recordings and provides coaching feedback, scores and progress tracking. Feedback is generated by AI and is for personal development purposes only — it is not professional, medical or psychological advice.

2. Subscriptions

  • Full use of Voko requires a paid auto-renewing subscription (weekly or yearly).
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Prices may vary by region and are shown before purchase. Where required, refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules.

3. Your content

You retain rights to your voice recordings and transcripts. You grant us the limited license needed to process them to provide the Service (transcription, scoring, progress). Recordings are deleted after analysis, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, use it for unlawful content, or abuse the AI analysis with content designed to harm. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Scores and progress

Charisma Scores, skills, XP and streaks are gamified estimates generated from AI analysis of your recordings. They are provided "as is" for motivation and self-improvement and carry no guarantee of accuracy or real-world outcomes.

6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
